Holy Cup Size Batman!

I have a feeling this pregnancy is about to kick into full gear very soon. Not just because I'm almost at the end of my first tirmester, but because I had to do something that I haven't done since middle school... Bra shopping. Not just any ordinary bra shopping (obviously I do buy new bras every now and then), but upgrading to a new cup size!!!

I am officially a C cup! I know this isn't a big deal to most women, especially if you are already well endowed, but for someone how has only gone from a AA to B it's a big deal! They always say that your breast will get bigger during pregnancy, I just didn't think it would happen this soon. Honestly, I thought I'd never see a C cup bra unless I got implants. I guess this is in preparation for all the additional "growing" we're suppose to experience in the near future?

I'm curious to see how I look preganant. Unfortunately I'm not showing yet. Too early apparently, even though some people do start showing early when with twins. A small group of women "pop" as the baby websites put it, as early as 8 weeks with twins, but the average is 12-16 weeks. This is still earlier than the average for most singleton pregnacy, which start to show at around 20 weeks.

I guess the fact that my chest is getting bigger is a good sign of my prenancy progressing, as the reverse is happening regarding my weight. Due to all the nausea, food aversion, and eating smaller proportions, I've actually loss weight rather than gain. Thankfully it's not uncommon in the first trimester and according to my OB, it's okay as long as I don't lose more than 10 lbs. I'll have to talk to him about this soon, as I've already lost 6 lbs in the past month. Since I started off overweight, I don't think it's adversely affecting the babies, but I'll have to discuss this issue during my next visit.

For now, I'm enjoying my good days when I can! Every now and then those pregnancy symptoms rear their ugly little heads, but I'm trying to enjoy them for what they are... Small sacrifices in this amazing journey they we have started :)
