I am definitely one of those individuals who cannot keep a secret for long, nor am I very patient. I love me some instant gratification! So naturally during my 19-20 week anatomy scan of the babies, I was dying to learn the genders. We had actually found out a week ago that baby A was most likely a boy, which was confirmed this during this sonogram. The little blip had developed into an obvious penis! And he was no shy showing it off. Lol. So YAY, a boy!! My husband was very happy. He's been wanting two boys, and while I would have loved two girls, we both just want healthy babies.
Anyways, baby A was little more difficulty to figure out. It was playing hard to get. A month ago, it had its back to us the majority of time, and today it had its legs crossed and up on its chest. This made it harder our sonograms tech to see. Thankfully, the tech was able to get a clear view in between baby A's legs.... no penis! A GIRL!!!!
So, we not only have been blessed with twins with our first pregnancy, but also with the best of both worlds! Two little mini me for my husband and I. We were also happ to hear that both babies are growing right in schedule and look healthy. Our boy is 10 oz and our girl 9 oz, and both measuring at 19 weeks. My AFP test from the previous month had turned out negative and my cervix looked great. No bed rest for me yet :)
4 months down, 5 more to go! The bump is definitely noticeable. Maternity clothes are a godsend! And now that we know the genders, I can start planning out the nursery. However, fetal movement is stil questionable for me. It's crazy how wiggly both babies are during the sonogram, but I don't feel much during the days. Sometimes at night when I'm lying down I think I can feel the "fluttering", which to me feels more like "popping" or "bubbles". I can't wait to feel definite kicks, rolls, and hiccups :)

Pregnancy tip #1
Just say no to hot peppers and overtly spicy foods. Especially later in your pregnancy, you're bowels will thank you for it.
